Elopements are so incredibly special and I treasure every elopement I’ve had the pleasure of sharing with my couples. A Whistler Elopement isn’t just about the wedding, it’s about the journey from before the day until long after. I know what it’s like to live a busy life with work, family and friends all over the world. Trying to fit everything in is hard without help. So, the answer is you can elope any way you want! Whistler is the perfect destination in BC for your elopement.
Why a heli elopement?
A helicopter elopement is a unique and convenient way to exchange vows in Whistler’s stunning, remote locations. Blackcomb Helicopters operate out of Whistler, Squamish and Pemberton and can take you to locations that are difficult to reach by car or on foot, and the trip is much faster than driving or hiking. This allows you to have a private and intimate ceremony, with just the two of you and a few select witnesses.

What to expect with a Whistler Heli Elopement
After that, you might get back in the helicopter and head back to the heliport, or you could go on a longer scenic tour. It's up to you and your package.
Make sure to dress right for the landing location, 'cause it can get cold up there.
In the end, having a helicopter elopement is a cool and unique way to get hitched that you'll never forget.
First off, it's gonna be just you, your partner, your photographer, videographer and officiant. Any additional guests will require more heli flights.
You'll go to the heliport where they'll tell you how to be safe on the helicopter. Then, you'll fly to a beautiful spot where you'll have around 45 minutes for your ceremony and photos.
